Main Features

The SafetyRaft®, developed by PSJ Safety Control BV, is a unique single-person solution featuring auto-inflation. Weighing just over 3 kg and designed for comfortable wear, it enhances your survival chances in any weather and sea conditions.


The SafetyRaft® is simple to board and quickly provides the survivor with thermal protection from cold water. It offers high-visibility colours + SOLAS reflective tape.

Lightweight backpack with integrated multi-tether safety band
Equipped with a three-in-one attachment system—hand loop, M&M clip, or hook—plus an integrated whistle. The tether is securely connected to the raft near the automatic inflator, ensuring the SafetyRaft® remains attached to the user prior to boarding, preventing accidental drift or loss.

Automatic inflation is triggered upon water immersion, with manual activation available as backup. Both functions are powered by the Halkey-Roberts Alpha Inflator — ISO 12402-7 approved, UL 1191 certified, recognized as a USCG Code 6F component, and backed by a 5-year guarantee.

 

Inflation Gas Options: SafetyRaft® offers a choice between CO₂ and Nitrogen (N₂). Standards – compliant EN ISO 11118 certified.


CO₂ : universal, widely accepted, cost-efficient.
N₂ :  Reliable cold water performance – no pressure drop, ultra-fast inflation , improved safety – no frostbite or thermal shock when touching cylinder , eco friendly - inert, non -toxic, minimal footprint.
